Make sure your grill is heating up correctly by replacing the hi-speed grill element, if it no longer functions as it should.
There are a number of factors that can cause grill elements to blow. Damage due to the expansion and contraction of the element coils caused by the element constantly heating up and cooling down is a very common cause. While other causes of element failure can include overheating as a result of a failed thermostat or in some cases a build-up of grease causing the fan motor to run slowly.
If your top oven's grill element is faulty or providing insufficient heat, then ensure the top oven is heating up correctly with this genuine replacement.
